How to Fix Blurry Night Vision on Your Anran Camera
Clear night vision is a critical feature of any security camera, allowing you to monitor your property in complete darkness. When the image becomes blurry, grainy, or dark, the effectiveness of your Anran camera is severely compromised. This guide will help you identify the common causes of poor night vision quality and provide practical solutions to restore a crystal-clear image.
Start with a Simple Clean
The most common cause of a blurry image, day or night, is a dirty lens. Over time, the camera's lens cover can accumulate dust, dirt, fingerprints, pollen, or water spots.
- What to do: Use a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth to gently wipe the camera lens. For stubborn grime, you can slightly dampen the cloth with water or a dedicated lens cleaning solution.
- What to avoid: Never use abrasive materials like paper towels or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can permanently scratch or damage the lens coating.
Inspect the Infrared (IR) LEDs
