## Factor 1: Battery Quality and Type
This is the most common and easily solved issue. Not all batteries are created equal.
- Avoid Cheap Batteries: Low-cost, unbranded zinc-carbon batteries are not suitable for devices like doorbells. They have a low capacity and perform poorly, especially in anything other than ideal conditions.
