Event footage stays on your Intelligence Hub, encrypted. If you have opted for an external hard disk attached to the Hub, 24/7 recording is stored on that disk at the property too. The Hub is compatible with most NVRs. That archive is not a central scOS cloud video library. All behavioural detection runs in our cloud — the Hub forwards video needed for analysis. Short frames used for that analysis are processed and then discarded. Live viewing you start is streamed to you and is not retained by us as a recording.
We hold alert records (labels, classifications, and any short still that still sits with an alert) in the UK and Ireland, for up to 30 days. Event video itself is not stored as a cloud footage library.
We cannot search, view or retrieve the recordings on your Hub. If someone asks us for that footage, we have no technical means to get it — that request goes to the person who operates the cameras at the property.
