Yes. Security is how the system is built, not a bolt-on.
Recorded footage is encrypted and stored on your Intelligence Hub, not in a central scOS video library. Our staff cannot view your live streams or Hub recordings. That is enforced in the infrastructure: the recordings stay on the Hub, and the keys are not used to decrypt them in our cloud.
We do keep limited alert snapshots in the cloud, for up to 30 days, so you can see recent alert history. Those are encrypted in transit and at rest.
We do not claim that every bit of the service stays in the UK or the EU. Primary stores are in the UK and Ireland. Some limited non-video data (for example voice-announcement text and briefing narratives) is processed by named providers outside the UK/EEA under written safeguards. The honest detail is in the Service Privacy Policy.
We don't have backdoors. We don't share with advertisers. We don't sell access. Your cameras watch your property.
