Event footage stays on the Hub. If you have opted for an external hard disk, 24/7 recording stays on that disk at the property too. We have no staff player for that archive. All behavioural detection runs in our cloud, so video used for analysis leaves the Hub. Alert records we can see when we support the service. On the Business service we may hold camera administrator credentials to apply privacy masks; those credentials can also open the camera’s own live view. Named providers, including Modal Labs, process short alert-candidate video frames.
If you switch on optional training contributions, some images from those cameras may be used to improve our models, as described in the Service Privacy Policy. That option is off by default.
